Danish Parliament Approves Offshore Wind Park. Reuters, August 25, 2008. "Denmark's parliament on Monday approved the construction of a 400 megawatt offshore wind turbine park in the Kattegat arm of the North Sea between Jutland and the island of Anholt in 2012. 'The park will be the biggest offshore park in Denmark and provide electricity for about 400.000 homes,' the Danish climate and energy ministry said... Denmark is home to Vestas, the world's biggest supplier of wind turbines. With German competitor Siemens Wind Power, they are the leading manufacturers of large offshore wind turbines."
