"When municipal leaders from across the province gather next week for their annual convention, at least 11 of them will be pleading with Premier Gordon Campbell to rethink the controversial carbon tax. Several northern and rural municipalities proposed resolutions for the Union of B.C. Municipalities Convention, being held next week in Penticton, complaining about the unequal impact of the tax on their communities."
